Wren
An 8-week calendar of tiny daily actions

Stop restarting on Mondays. Stack one small action a day.

I'm Maren, and I made Wren for women carrying weight on their minds. Day one asks for one action. Every two weeks, one more joins. Each comes with its own timer, a short guided session or a reminder you set. Open it, do the thing, close it.

You know this part already

Name it plainly. Then do one thing today.

The scale
You step on, step off, and carry the number through the day.
The wardrobe
Jeans that stopped closing. The dress you skip past every morning.
The afternoon dip
Energy drops by mid-afternoon. Your mood follows it down.
The photos
You stand at the back of the group shot, or hold the camera yourself.
The mirror
You want to feel beautiful in it again, and sure of yourself in photos.

Big plans asked for everything on day one. Wren asks for one glass of water.

Eight weeks on one screen

This is the calendar inside Wren. Every bar is one action. A new bar joins every 14 days.

What each phase adds

Four phases, two weeks each. Keep what you have. Add one.

  1. 1
    Weeks 1 and 2, days 1 to 14

    A glass at the kettle

Tell Wren when you put the kettle on. At that minute, a reminder lands. Pour a glass of water. Drink it while the kettle boils. Tap done.

That is the whole day. Do it on good days. Do it on flat ones.

    Reminder, 1 tap
  2. 2
    Weeks 3 and 4, days 15 to 28

A walk out the front door

Shoes on, phone in pocket, press start. A 6-minute walk timer runs. At 3:00 a soft voice cue says turn round. Walk home. Done.

No route, no pace, no gear. The door is the anchor.

    Walk timer, 6:00

  3. 3
    Weeks 5 and 6, days 29 to 42

    A pause at the plate

Sit down to dinner. Open the plate pause. For 90 seconds my voice walks you through it: fork down, three slow breaths, name what is on the plate out loud. Then eat as you normally would.

    Guided session, 1:30
Black-and-white still life shot from the side of a plain ceramic dinner plate with a fork resting across it and a folded
  4. 4
    Weeks 7 and 8, days 43 to 56

    Lights down at the lamp

Switch off the bedside lamp. Open lights-down. Four minutes of a guided wind-down in my voice: shoulders, jaw, breath, the day set aside.

This phase also unlocks the weigh-in log. It stays off unless you switch it on.

    Guided session, 4:00

The rules the calendar runs on

I built every screen of Wren on these. Read them. Hold me to them.

One new action every 14 days
Never two at once. The next one stays locked until its day comes.
Every action rides on an anchor
The kettle, the front door, the dinner plate, the bedside lamp. Things you already do daily.
Every action has a clock
A timer or a session with a fixed length. You know the minute it ends.
A missed day holds your place
No reset, no red marks. Open Wren the next day and the calendar picks up where you left it.
You set every reminder
You pick the hour. Outside those minutes, Wren stays quiet.

Small enough for a bad Tuesday. That is the test every action had to pass.

A note from Maren

Black-and-white photograph of an open wardrobe rail with a few plain blouses and one dress on wooden hangers, hard side

I quit more plans than I can count, usually in week two. Each one wanted a new version of me by Monday morning.

So I drew a calendar instead. One action I could do with my coat still on. Then another, two weeks later. Each with a clock, so I never had to guess how long it would take.

That calendar became Wren. I recorded every session myself. Open it at the kettle tomorrow and read the first screen.

Short answers

The ones women write to me most.

What if I skip a day?

Nothing resets. The missed-day hold keeps your place, and the next action still unlocks on its own day. Open Wren tomorrow and do today's stack.

Do I have to weigh myself?

No. The weigh-in log appears in week 7 and stays off. Switch it on only if you choose to. The numbers stay on your phone.

What happens after day 56?

Your stack of four stays on the Today screen. Keep it as it is, change any reminder hour, or swap an action for another from the Tools tab. Cancel any day from settings.
